Getting Here

Shaw Island, Washington is located in in San Juan County in the Pacific Northwest. It is the smallest island in the San Juans with regular ferry service. It is home to a county park with a camping ground, a ferry dock, and a two-room schoolhouse. The two major businesses on the island are Northwest Marine Technology and the Shaw Island General Store. The island is primarily residential, and the majority of the population are retired professionals.

Shaw Island is about an hour's ferry ride to Anacortes and an hour's drive on Interstate 5 to Seattle.
